True Colors
Why, why, why? I just know everytime I stick a toe out I come back missing a toenail. So why keep sticking it out there? Surely it has to be safe at least one of those times. LOL. I'm at the point that I just have to laugh at stuff. Asking why never gives me a good enough answer.
So, I have this friend that always says I asked you to the movies. Well I finally said okay. Well let's say we were suppose to see each other yesterday and I have not heard a thing. I went into this with no expectations at all. Either it was going to happen or it wasn't. It helps eliminate disappointment.
Recently, I've been telling myself the decent male race is not extinct. It isn't. So find a true male friend to prove it to you. What a slap in the face. This is the 2nd time that I had these good intentions only to prove me wrong.
I'm ready to cash in all the lies I've been told. The economy is bad so I can be rich. It's very easy for someone to say move on. Although I can do that, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. As soon as someone comes along, I'm going to expect the same because that's all I've seen. That's the real issue.

Hey i would just like to say that there is lots of decent guys out there, i should know because i am one of them. :)
But lots of us have bad experiences with women and so we think there is no decent women out there, i have been searching for the right girl for years and i have found many good women but it seems that they are not ready to commit. I too am slightly overweight which i think puts me at a disadvantage but i also make alot of money so i think i attract the wrong people sometimes. My advise is do what you are doing, dont have expectations and one day you will meet the right person. I have recently tried speed dating because online dating didnt work for me and this way i found i make alot of friends.
Thanks Greg. I am frightened of online dating. Been there, done that. I just can't find anything that will be honest with me. I can't say I make a lot but probably more than average. The crazy part is a lot of men think I want material things and I'm not into that.
You are right though. I know time will bring the right one. Search under a rock and no telling what bug you will find :-)

I say try speed dating, you can meet up to 20 guys in 1 hr your guaranteed to find someone...
Stay away from online dating, that is terrible eveyone is hiding something.
